A group exhibition by members of Sunbeam House Services

The Signal Arts Centre is delighted to showcase a collection of work by a group of local budding photographers from Sunbeam House Services. Collective is the culmination of two photography workshops facilitated by local professional photographer and artist Denis Dunne. Over six weeks each group learned about their cameras, how other artists have represented themselves in self portraits, they identified and planned the location for their ideal self portrait, and they took their portrait photographs and selected their choice of the most successful photographs for exhibition.

The two groups approached the subject of self portraiture with enthusiasm, clearly identifying what is unique about them and how they would like to express this individuality. The exhibition of completed work is laden with significance for these individuals and has been captured perfectly through the medium of photography.
